INTRODUCTION |
In life we are either serving or being served. There is time for both, and we all need to be served and to serve. As we celebrate this season of Christmas, let us remember that Jesus, the King came not to be served but to serve and to give His life a ransom for many i.e. He died to redeem us from slavery to sin, to set us free and make us children of God. He has set the example for us and commanded us to do so as He has done to us (John 13:14-17). Service gives us meaning, purpose and significance. It is a privilege and a blessing to serve the Lord by serving others.
