INTRODUCTION |
No matter how dark our circumstances may be, we have the LIGHT of the LORD WITHIN us (Is 60:1-2). Let His light in us shine increasingly wherever we are by praying, giving and serving. The Lord also wants to encourage us to do so TOGETHER AS ONE MAN! As in Judges 6:16 And the Lord said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.”
Judges 6-7 records the story of God’s deliverance of His people through Gideon and his 300 men. The Israelites were being oppressed by their enemies because they sinned against the Lord. The Lord called Gideon and anointed him to be the deliver. Although Gideon was timid, fearful and unsure of himself, the Lord was very patient with him and kept assuring him and encouraging him. (Judges 6:12, 36-40). Judges 7 which tells of His deliverance of Israel through Gideon and his 300 men who were in UNITY.
