INTRODUCTION |
What is the main theme of Revelation? God wants us to remain faithful through hardship, troubles and sufferings because He has a glorious future prepared for us in the end. He is sovereign and He is guiding His church towards His promised end. No matter what we may see in our world, He is in full control. Hence, we can take courage as we have this vision of Him and the end before us. It is so important to have this clear vision because without vision we perish, lose hope, and live without direction (Pro 29:18). We are not to live short-sighted lives but with our focus on the promised new world, our blessed hope of glory.
