INTRODUCTION
Revelation 4 is the centrepiece of the Bible and of all creation. After addressing the Church in Rev 2-3, the LORD took John in the Spirit before His Throne in Heaven. He wanted John and His Church to see the glorious vision of His Throne before showing them “things which must take place after this”: the 7 seals, 7 trumpets and 7 bowls which are the terrifying judgment and wrath of God on the earth. Rev 6:17 says, “Who is able to stand?”
