INTRODUCTION – WHY DOES GOD TESTS US?
Abraham is known as the father of faith because he believed God. Having faith in
God means that Abraham took God’s word seriously and obeyed Him. Heb 11:8-19
records how Abraham believed God, pleased God and was rewarded by God.
Today God wants us to believe Him and obey Him so that we can experience His
faithfulness and be rewarded by Him. Just as God tested Abraham so God tests us
today. Why? To bless us. To increase our faith in Him. To promote us. To make us a
greater blessing.
