INTRODUCTION
David wanted to build God a house to dwell in for he loved the Lord and delighted to be in His presence (2 Sam 7:5). God was so pleased and excited that David had such a heart that He promised David that He would build David a house (David’s family line which was fulfilled in Jesus). (1 Kings 8:18, 2 Sam 7:11). Jesus, through His death and resurrection, has been raised up to be the Head and the Foundation of His church which He is building today to be the dwelling place of God. Today you and I are living stones in His temple and we have the privilege to be His
co-builders to build His church. We build by being built up and building up others.
