INTRODUCTION |
Leprosy in the Bible is seen as the disease of sin. Leprosy is deadly just as the wages of sin is death. There is no hope for a leper. Besides that, he or she was to be removed from society, including family and friends, and had to live the rest of his life in a lepers’ colony away from people. During the time of Jesus, it was mandatory for him to shout, “Unclean!” whenever anyone comes near him. In today’s context if someone is Covid 19 positive, he must be isolated.
