INTRODUCTION |
What is Stress? Stress is an emotional or physical tension. It makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous. It is our reaction to a challenge or demand that puts a strain on our soul and body to the level of “unable to cope” or breakdown. In Luke 10:38-42, we see how the sisters Mary and Martha related to Jesus when He visited them before going to Jerusalem. Both Martha and Mary welcomed Jesus, but Martha was distracted by much serving and became worried and troubled by many things and started to demand Mary’s help, who was seated at Jesus’ feet.
