INTRODUCTION |
Rev 8 is where the 7th seal is opened by Jesus. Why was there silence for half an hour between the 6th and 7th seal? As heaven is a glorious place filled with unceasing praises and worship of God, the silence is abnormal and speaks of an expectancy of something unusual and dramatic that is going to take place. It points to the final judgement of God that He is going to release to the earth in the 7 trumpets. Zep 1:7, 14-15 refers to the day of the Lord, a day of His wrath, a day of trumpets for judgement.
